About The Author
Kelly Edgeworth is a retired history teacher turned novelist, who brings a wealth of life experiences to his storytelling. Residing in the picturesque town of St. Albert, Alberta, he shares his life with his wife, two sons, and two spirited dogs. With a passion for the great outdoors, Kelly and his wife can often be found backpacking, camping, and fishing, drawing inspiration from nature for his writing. His debut novel is a heartfelt family historical fiction written for his sons, nephews, and nieces, encapsulating rich family narratives from the Great Depression on the Canadian prairies to the trials of WWII, all set against the stunning backdrops of the Canadian prairies, Europe, Rocky Mountains and the Canadian Shield. Having lived in diverse locations including Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, and even the UK, Kelly’s experiences enrich the authenticity of his stories. An accomplished writer, he has previously published technical writing and now serves as a museum program specialist at the Musée Héritage Museum. Educated at the University of Alberta and Concordia University of Portland, where he earned his master’s degree, Kelly is not only a keeper of history but also a creator of it. In his free time, he dabbles in various sports, navigating a love-hate relationship with golf, while always seeking new adventures to fuel his next literary endeavour.
